The rule uses only samples up to the replay moment. Later readings belong in the outcome panel, not in the decision.
PROTO FIELD NOTES / EXPERIMENT 01
What would Proto have said?
And when should it stay quiet?
Replay the effort. Inspect the decision.
Nothing is sent to your wrist.
All readings and the calibration anchor are invented. This is a rule demonstration, not a real workout or validated coaching system.
COSTRATE / SHADOW REPLAY
Select a marker to inspect the evidence available at that moment.
No calibration. No calibrated cue.
THE METHOD
Costrate is a name for this experiment, not a new physiological score. Here, the only “rate” is heart rate. The margin is simply beats above an example boundary.

Above 152 bpm for 75 seconds. A sample gap longer than 10 seconds resets the timer. A five-minute cooldown suppresses repeat cues.
Input quality is not clinical confidence. A threshold crossing does not prove fatigue, and a later drop in heart rate does not prove the cue would help.
Deterministic synthetic heart-rate samples at five-second intervals. One deliberate signal gap. An invented calibration anchor and an illustrative policy, version 0.1. No personal health data is loaded, stored, or uploaded by this page.
No energy expenditure, metabolic cost, diagnosis, or safe exercise limit is calculated. These cue parameters are not validated. This showcase is not connected to /go workout imports and does not deliver live haptics.
Evaluate the rule retrospectively on consented recordings with a suitable personal anchor. Review proposed and withheld cues before considering opt-in live feedback.
