Death Rides a White Horse

Hayman's Old Tom gin, Lustau amontillado sherry, blanc vermouth, Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao, orange bitters.
One night, twenty-seven pages, and a 600-bottle backbar. Proto's first protocol read of a great American cocktail bar — Robin Room, celebrating ten years on the near west side of Madison, Wisconsin.
Proto field studies catalogue real-world rituals — bars, saunas, kitchens, clinics — and translate them into protocol primitives: ratio, dose, sequence, recovery. We pulled twenty-seven photographs of Robin Room's printed menu, ran them through Proto, and turned the evening's analog liturgy into something the platform can read alongside your biomarkers.
The page below is the result. The bar's typography is left alone; the rest is Proto.
Celebrating ten years. Five drinks the bar built and kept.

Hayman's Old Tom gin, Lustau amontillado sherry, blanc vermouth, Pierre Ferrand dry curaçao, orange bitters.

Nosotros Mexicano mezcal, agricole rum, mango, ginger, Sichuan + black peppercorn.

El Buho espadín mezcal, Byrrh quinquina, Lillet, Peychaud's bitters.

St. George Valley citrus gin, pear, bergamot, citrus, hibiscus.

Sipsmith London Dry gin, basil, cucumber, lemon, grapefruit, hibiscus rim.
Twelve drinks, glass first. The signature design move of the menu — black silhouette of the serving vessel, dotted leaders to each ingredient — translated into something the page can read.

We don't recommend cocktails as medicine; we surface the lightest options for tonight's profile. The P button at the top of this page reads your Proto biomarkers — HbA1c, cortisol, magnesium, hs-CRP, sleep score — and re-ranks Robin Room's menu around them. Zero-proof and low-impact pours rise; sugar-heavy and high-ABV nightcaps fall.
